Sunday, April 28th: We're gathering advocates from care around BC to brainstorm and challenge the child welfare system's design. Through your creativity and passion, we'll share solutions to the child welfare system that break down barriers and construct new paths for youth success.
This day is an opportunity for folks not engaged in Fostering Change's work to participate in policy solutions, to network with other youth from care, and to share ideas for a better system. We'll aim to get solutions and policy ideas out on the table. Then, we'll spend the afternoon prioritizing these goals and leave the room feeling like we know a path forward for our campaign.
Each October, Fostering Change convenes a Policy Solutions Day in Victoria with dozens of youth from care across BC. We strategize for change through research and youth led policy solutions. This brainstorm will help us decide our year ahead!
We're very excited to announce that Kris Archie, a talented facilitator with deep roots to Fostering Change and the youth in care community will facilitate this session.
